In remembrance of my uncle Ricky Dawn Coates (4-2-98), my great uncle Weldon Walker (10-4-98) and recently my grandmother Doris Faye Blasingame (3-13-09) that passed away due to terminal cancer. During my uncle and grandmother's final days, hospice provided services.
I want to help provide a better quality of life for those that are at the end of their time here on earth. Death can be a difficult transition for both the patient and the family that is left behind. Sometimes it takes someone with compassion, empathy, and gentle hands that can help assist with the transition home.
Massage therapy can assist the patient with pain management and helps with the relaxation process. Massage aids with lowering blood pressure and increasing circulation. This benefits those patients that are bed ridden or have walking restrictions.
This is why I donate some of my time to hospice patients.
If you or someone you know is a hospice patient and in need of a massage and cannot afford it, please contact me at 817-966-1020. The service maybe free to those that qualify.
